New article bases launched
July 19, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Article directories, sometimes called article bases, are websites where you can share your expertise or in the case of visitors, you can glean information from experts. They are free usually and as such are great resources.
Most article directories are in the US, because a) that’s where the they started and b) hosting is cheap. UK article is quite cheap these days and is very reliable so there’s no reason to create UK article bases, so we’ve done it.
Here are a couple of UK article bases:

Get in touch with your Angels
July 15, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Angels are something new to us to. After having met Gabriel Rose and having a long chat with her I feel very spiritualised. It’s something away from the technology world and back to the human spirit. She writes on her website ‘My path here on earth is to help facilitate the manifestation of heaven on earth for all of us - to bring love, light, peace, prosperity and joy to all humanity.’.
Gabriel is a very empathatic person and she’s just launched her new website -> Angel Guidance and Reiki.
If you already know about Angel Readings and your Archangels give Gabriel a visit, and why not if you’re curious. Like we were.

Car Bumper Repairs from a specialist company
July 12, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Most of us at one time or another scratch or graze a car bumper, maybe at the supermarket or on a bollard, or maybe even someone else scratched yours.
Since when repairing car bumpers it is essential to match the colour exactly thats why you need to visit a specialist in car bumper repairs. BodyMech Stoke have been repairing plastic bumpers for over 15 years and are well established.
We took our Golf there to repair a bumper scuff and were very impressed by the finish and quality. Garry, who runs the outfit was very pleasant and ensured that the paint was matched to the rest of the car - you can’t tell.
How did it happen? Well I’m not sure but I found black rubber all on the bumper and a few ripples. I can only guess that someone has scraped a big tyre across it.
I’d have no hesitation in recommending BodyMech for all your car bumper repairs because a) the work quality is excellent b) they are competitively priced.
BodyMech are based in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire and provide car bumper repairs to cars, motorbikes, vans and most other vehicles.
Give them a call if you’ve had that ‘oh no’ moment when you’ve discovered some squifter has raked their wheels across your bumper.

Lovely holiday cottage in Snowdonia - plenty of walks and countryside
July 3, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Snowdonia is one of the most beautiful areas of the UK. Many holiday makers go there to walk in the country, ramble through hills, enjoy nature.
We’ve come across a rather beautiful place to stay, Stable Cottage at Minllyn. It is very well kept, and has a certain traditional-cottage charm. Plenty of parking and access to some wonderful walks in the countryside makes it a great place to go if you need a welcome break in the country. There’s just the right amount of room for 4 people and ample parking making it a great family holiday or to be with friends.
Follow this link to see the cottage :- Snowdonia Cottage - Stable Cottage

June 22, 2010 | Leave a Comment
RC (Radio Controlled) Cars are bags of fun. There’s RC crawlers, electric versions, petrol, and nitro cars .. something in there for everyone. You can buy the cars built, or if you like doing things yourself you can get a kit and do the assembly yourself. Think of the satisafaction!
RC crawlers navigate over rocks and terrain where cars can’t go. The can go over the most challenging of terrain with some planning and skill. They have high axle articulation to allow them to go over the most obtuse obstacles .. only limited by what you put in front of it.
Owing to the vast amount of RC Cars around we thought we’d better find one that has the very best, and we’ve found it -> Ultimate RC Cars and other radio controlled vehicles.
If you need more info it’s all on there, just take a look and see!

treadmills for fitness
June 3, 2010 | Leave a Comment
Treadmill walking is one of the easiest ways to get in shape and burn fat. In fact, mile for mile, you can burn as many calories walking as you would jogging. Walking is also one of the best stress relieving exercises and anyone can do it, regardless of fitness level.
Here are 5 tips to help you get the most walking bang for your buck:
1) Get your arms pumping.
Bring your upper body into your workout by pumping your arms. This is an easy way to burn more calories while walking. If you want to tone up and use more arm muscle during your workout, try carrying 2 - 5 pound handweights.
Bonus Benefit: pumping your arms propels you forward and helps you move faster - which means more distance covered and more calories burned!
2) Build in incline intervals.
Walking on an incline is one of the fastest ways to drastically skyrocket your calorie burn. But you don’t have to spend your whole workout on an incline. Try building in 30 - 60 second intervals of incline walking on your treadmill every 5 to 10 minutes.
If you’re walking outside and can’t control your incline, try stopping every few minutes and doing 10 - 15 squats or lunges to tone your lower body.
An exercise treadmill is an excellent home fitness program to improve your fitness.
We’ve found a new website devoted to treadmills, www.exercise-treadmills.co.uk, why not check it out?

what’s in protein diet supplements?
April 18, 2010 | Leave a Comment
To build muscle you need 2 things: exercise and proteins.
Levels of protein in the body decrease through a workout. Muscles need protein nutrition and essential amino acids as a precursor to building muscle. Taking protein after an exercise regime will reduce soreness, tiredness and also help to build your muscles quicker.
Whey proteins are have been around for quite a bit of time and have established themselves as an athletes choice of protein. They contain a good proportion of branched-chain amino acids which are quickie used by the body to build muscle, whereas other amino acids are metabolized in the liver. For the most effective protein supplements those based on Whey Protein are amongst the best.
Every bodybuilder and athlete knows that a good exercise regime is not just about the exercise but its also about the diet.
Why is Whey Protein so good?
There is a measure called ‘Biological Value’ of proteins. It measures the amount of protein retained vs the amount of protein taken. Whey protein, in studies, scores higher than all other types of protein in the test. This is the reason why Whey is so good .. it’s simply more effective in the body than any other.
Whey proteins come in many forms, such as protein shakes (which you add to water or milk), and bars. For more information on whey proteins and bars and protein diet supplements, find a website that has a good range of products.
With many protein supplements available choosing the right one is paramount to getting the best from your diet. We have heard many good comments about MaxiMuscle, and Optimium Health products. In fact the gym goers we have spoken to all recommend them and and continue to use them in their training programme. There are quite a few others at different price ranges so you can happily enhance your physical condition whilst maintaining a lower budget.
